Hi Stamping Friends!
It's the last day of Spring Break in our area (NE Indiana), so I thought I'd share a couple of pretty beach scene cards created with the awesome Waterfront stamp set. With all the snow flurries we've had this week, I could have really used a trip to the beach instead of enduring this "spring" weather! I know many of you can relate! Instead, I'll be traveling to even chillier Milwaukee, WI, for the Stampin' Up! OnStage event. But, it's OK…we'll be inside checking out new product presentations and seeing the brand new catalog! EEEEeee!
Get VIP Behind-The-Scenes Access For FREE! I will try to check in on my VIP Facebook Group this weekend letting you know what me and my group of 6 team members are up to, but we won't be able to "spoil" any of the announcements or new products until Monday, April 9. That gives you plenty of time to join my Too Cool Stamping VIP Facebook Group now, so you don't miss a thing next week!
Retired List is Coming Soon!—The Retired List will be released in the afternoon on April 9! Stampin' Up! is clearing out the old, so they can bring in the awesome new Annual Catalog products! These items will be available while supplies last only, thru May 31. Don't wait on the retiring In Colors! See more about those on Monday's post!

Waterfront Swirly Wave Beach Scene Card
I'm loving the wavy background on this fun-in-the-sun beach card! I haven't seen many Waterfront cards with palm trees, but this card really showcases how versatile that stamp set is!
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- After scoring the Whisper White card base place the front into the Seaside Embossing Folder and run thru the Big Shot with the lines goings from left to right on the card.
- Cut a Whisper White circle with the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits.
- Use Crumb Cake ink and the 3” long stamp to create the sandy beach.
- Use Lemon Lime Twist ink and the same stamp to stamp directly under the beach.
- Use Pool Party ink and the inverted triangle stamp to create the water.
- Use Bermuda Bay ink and the 2 3/4” long stamp to add depth to the water by stamping twice.
- Use Soft Suede ink to stamp the palm trunks and Wild Wasabi ink for the tops.
- Use a Post-It Note to mask the sand and then use Tangerine Tango ink to stamp the setting sun.
- Cut a Bermuda Bay scalloped circle using the Layering Circle Framelits and layer the art piece on top.
- The Glimmer Paper should be cut with the swirly border from the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits and glued onto the card front.
- Attach the circle piece to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
