Jodi's Simple Welcome Easter Card
I'm loving the sweet simplicity of this adorable Welcome Easter card created by Jodi Geers! This one comes together so quickly!
Background Basics—Jodi started by stamping the Welcome Easter sentiment in Lovely Lipstick ink on a 5" x 3-3/4" layer of Whisper White. She also added the cute little bee image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. That layer is matted onto a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Lovely Lipstick, then mounted onto a Thick Whisper White card base.
Easter Bunny—Jodi stamped the Welcome Easter bunny image in Memento Black ink onto Whisper White cardstock, then colored it in with the Light Lovely Lipstick Stampin' Blends Marker. I love how she also added a little shading around the bunny with the Light Smoky Slate Blends Marker. She finished by fussy-cutting the bunny and popping it up with Dimensionals. ADORABLE!
Peggy's Stepped Up Welcome Easter Card
Peggy Tassler created a Welcome Easter card with lots of sweet spring layers.
Background Basics—Peggy's card begins with a 5-1/4" x 4" Petal Pink layer that's embossed with the Country Floral Embossing Folder mounted onto a Thick Whisper White card base. She adhered a 5-1/4" x 1" Best Dressed DSP floral strip onto a 5-1/4" x 1-1/2" Purple Posy layer.
Sweet Sentiment—Peggy stamped the Welcome Easter greeting in Lovely Lipstick onto Whisper White then die-cut it with the Ornate Frames dies and popped up with Dimensionals.
Easter Bunny—Peggy created an oval foundation for her bunny with the Layering Ovals dies and the Purple Posy So Very Vellum layered onto a Whisper White scallop oval. Her bunny was stamped in Memento Black onto Whisper White, then colored with Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends and Light Flirty Flamingo for the ears and nose. It's fussy-cut and popped up with Dimensionals. She finished with a few Rhinestone Jewels colored with the Dark Highland Heather Blends Marker. So sweet!
