Today I'm sharing a couple of cute "welcome baby" cards in honor of my niece Amanda. She's expecting her first child, due to arrive Christmas Eve, and our whole family is beyond excited for her! I can't wait to become a great aunt! Who could ask for a better Christmas present?!

Wildly Happy Panda Card
My niece has always loved pandas, since she was often called Manda Panda, so this card is quite fitting for her and her soon-to-be newborn cub.
Background Basics—The background begins with the Wildly Happy sentiment stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 4" x 5-1/4" Whisper White layer. It's mounted onto a Whisper White Thick card base.
Ombré Focal Point—I love the pretty ombré background as a colorful contrast to the black & white pandas. It's created by die-cutting the largest Stitched Shapes square in Whisper White, then coloring it with Sponge Daubers. Pool Party ink is sponged at the top to represent the sky and Pear Pizzazz ink is sponged on the bottom for the grass. The square is popped up with Dimensionals onto the card front.
Pretty Pandas—The Wildly Happy panda image in stamped in Memento Black ink into Whisper White cardstock, then it's colored with Basic Black Stampin' Blends Markers. Finally, it's fussy-cut with super-sharp Paper Snips and popped up with Dimensionals onto the square. So cute & easy!

Wildly Happy Sweetest Baby Card
The cuddly mom and fox cub are also SO adorable!
Background Basics—This card begins with a 5" x 3-3/4" Whisper White panel that's stamped with a Wildly Happy sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. It's adhered to a Terracotta Tile card base with SNAIL.
Fantastic Foxes—The Wildly Happy fox image is stamped in Memento Black onto a 2-3/4" x 2-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock and colored with Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends Combo Markers. A Light Crumb Cake Blends Marker was used to color the ears. The stamped image is layered onto a piece of 2-7/8" x 2-3/8" Terracotta Tile.
Finishing Touches—A 3-1/2" x 1" strip of Terracotta Tile In Color Designer Series Paper is fishtail cut on one end and adhered to the card front. Next, a small strip of Terracotta Tile Scalloped Linen Ribbon was also added. It's finished with a Linen Thread bow, attached to the ribbon with a Glue Dot. The stamped layer was popped up over the top with Dimensionals. So sweet!
