Winter Woods Snow Scene & Holiday Items Selling Out

Hi Stamping Friends!

Stampin' Up! has let us know that several Holiday Catalog items are likely going to sell out much sooner than expected due to a system communication issue when they upgraded their inventory management system.

Order These Items Before They Sell Out!

Please note that the following products run a high risk of selling out in the next week or even earlier.  *Items highlighted in purple type will be carrying over to a future catalog, but if they sell out now, they will not be back in stock before the end of the Holiday Catalog on January 2, 2019.

How Does This Affect The Winter Woods Class?  Two products from my Winter Woods Class-To-Go Kit are on the above list: the Striped Burlap Trim and the In The Woods Framelits for the Add-On Bundle option. I will be placing DAILY orders for these two products to cover those who have registered for the class each day.  The sooner you register, the better the chance that I'll be able to get your class items. In the event that they run out of these items after you've registered, I will contact you with some options, including the option for a full refund.

Sold Out! These Items Are Already GoneThere are already a few Holiday Catalog items that have sold out and are no longer available.  If you already have these items on order, you will receive your backorder. The sold-out items include:

150095: Santa’s Workshop Cards You Can Make It Bundle
147905: Santa's Workshop Memories & More Card Pack
147815: Santa's Workshop Memories & More Cards & Envelopes

Winter woods snow scene - four cool

Winter Woods Pine In Sparkly Snow Cards

The beautiful Winter Woods tree elements combine with sparkling glitter to create some stunning holiday cards!  The Winter Woods Class-To-Go kit includes supplies to create 4 each of this card style.  These cards look amazing in person, so I wanted to share some up-close photos to give you an idea of their elegance!

Winter woods snow scene - navy 1
Background Basics—This card begins by embossing a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock with the Softly Falling Texture Impressions Folder.  It's adhered to a Night of Navy card base with SNAIL adhesive.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Winter Woods sentiment in Night of Navy ink on the bottom right of a 4" x 2-1/4" piece of Whisper White.  I used the In The Woods edgelit to achieve that soft slope. TIP: Use a piece of washi tape or a sticky note to hold the edgelit in place when you run it through the Big Shot.

I adhered the snowbank sentiment with Tear & Tape for a secure hold on the embossed paper.  I wanted to be able to tuck the trees behind the snow later, so I only adhered along the bottom and sides of the element, like I was making a little pocket.

Pretty Pine—I stamped the Winter Woods pine tree in Mossy Meadow ink onto Whisper White, then die-cut the image with the coordinating In The Woods Framelit.  I added some scribbles and dots of glue from the Fine-Tip Glue Pen all over the tree and sprinkled on some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter for beautiful sparkle!  It's popped up with Dimensionals.

Beautiful Branches—I die-cut two little trees from the Sparkle Glimmer Paper.  There are actually two of these dies in the In The Woods Framelits set, so you can make both trees in one pass through the Big Shot.  I adhered the trees with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen, tucking the trunks behind the snow bank. TIP: I used the Precision Base Plate to help with these intricate cuts.

Finishing Touches—I colored a few Rhinestone Jewels with the Old Olive Dark Stampin' Blends Marker and floated them around the tree.  I love that little touch of sparkly color.

Two Cool—For the second version, I created the same card and added it to a Thick Whisper White card base instead.  Oooh, I love that white-on-white look for this snowy scene!
