Wishing You The Berry Best Card #1
I received two Berry Blessings swap cards recently that had a similar cool design featuring an extended front flap. This first one was created by Sarah Simon.
Background Basics—Sarah's card base begins with a 7-3/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Night of Navy cardstock, scored at the 5-1/2" mark for a shorten card front. That front panel was decorated with a 2" x 4" piece of the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper, part of the berry combo Sale-a-Bration selection for a $100 order.
Extended Front—Sarah created an extension to the shortened panel with a piece of 4" x 3" Berry Delightful DSP layered onto a 4-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Night of Navy. It's adhered to the card front with SEAL Adhesive. I love that she brushed Wink of Stella glimmer over the berries in the DSP for a delightful shimmer.
Sweet Sentiment—Sarah stamped the Berry Blessing sentiment in Night of Navy ink onto Basic White and die-cut it with the Layering Ovals dies. She layered it onto a Night of Navy scallop oval cut with the same dies. Before popping it up with Dimensionals, she lightly flecked the oval with Pacific Point ink. Simply dip a Water Painter brush in a little Pacific Point refill ink and flick the bristles with your finger to spread the speckles of ink.
Finishing Touches—Sarah tied a bow with the Night of Navy 1/8" grosgrain ribbon from the Playing With Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack and attached it with a Glue Dot. Then, she colored three Pearl Jewels with the fine tip end of a Dark Night of Navy Stampin' Blends Marker to create perfectly matched pearls. Those were scattered around the card front and sentiment. Sweet!
Inside the Card—Don't forget to decorate the inside with some coordinating DSP and a matching Berry Blessings sentiment onto a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Basic White.

Wishing You The Berry Best Card #2
I received this second swap from Lynn Feldkamp using a similar extended front design as the first card, except this time opening upward instead of to the side. I love the two cool versions!
Background Basics—Lynns's card base begins with a 6-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Poppy Parade cardstock, scored at the 4-1/4" mark for a shorten card front. That front panel was decorated with a 1-3/4" x 5-1/4" piece of the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper.
Extended Front—Lynn's card front panel is the same measurements as Sarah's: 4" x 3" for the DSP and 4-1/4" x 3-1/4" for the Poppy Parade layer. Before she mounted it onto the card front, Lynn tied some White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon around the layers for some texture.
Sweet Sentiment—Lynn's sentiment is stamped in Poppy Parade ink onto Basic White, then die-cut with the Stitched Rectangles Dies. It's popped up with Dimenstionals and topped with three Pearl Jewels.
