Woohoo! In Color Goodie Bags!

Too Cool Happenings!

____________________________________________________________________

Hi Stamping Friends!

It was so much fun hanging out with my Too Cool Demo Team last night!  Love those ladies!  We have a team event every month, and we alternate between meetings and shoebox swaps every other month.  This month was a meeting month, so we shared fun business and stamping tips, checked out some of the new products from the catalog, created a quick make & take, and everyone got the chance to do a little show & tell spotlighting their latest projects!  I'll show you some of the projects we saw at my upcoming Sunday Showcase!

Paper share sampler - too cool

One of my show & tell projects was my finished Paper Sampler Ring, my demo option for the Too Cool Paper Share.  I'm really happy how it turned out!  It features all of the new papers from the catalog in 3"x 6" sheets.

Since I cut the papers down from the 6" x 6" Paper Share, you also get a bag of all of the leftover pieces, too!  Order it now for only $30 plus shipping if needed!  Regular 6" x 6" Paper Shares are only $25, plus shipping.  See complete details: Too Cool Paper Share.  If you're interested in participating, contact me today

Woohoo bags - all in colors

With the recent release of the new catalog, I knew that our Too Cool Team would have lots to talk about and lots of ideas to share, and that wouldn't leave us much time to do make & takes, so I made a little goodie bag to take home with them!

In Color Goodies Bags—I thought it would be fun to use the new Polka Dot Tag A Bag Gift Bags and close them with the sweet little 2014-2016 In Color Clothespins.  Aren't they completely adorable!  Some are solid colors, and some have fun patterns!

Once I started decorating, I thought, why not have the elements on each bag represent each of the new 2014-2016 In Colors: Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Mossy Meadow and Tangelo Twist.  It's a great idea for a sample project for demos to display at stamping events, or even as an inexpensive thank you for a customer.  Plus, it's a fun way to get the new colors in their hands…especially when you fill the bags with bite-sized chocolate bars…which I did!  Yummy!

Of course, you don't have to be a demo to enjoy creating these for a fun treat for friends!

Each treat bag was unique and represented the In Colors with one of each element:

  • A 2014-2016 In Color Clothespin
  • A 2014-2016 In Color DSP pennant made with the Banner Framelits.
  • A 2014-2016 In Color Stitched Satin Ribbon
  • An image inked in one of the 2014-2016 In Colors
  • A Petite Petals flower punched from 2014-2016 In Color card stock

Sweet Sentment—The "woohoo!" is from the new Bravo Photopolymer stamp set.  I cut it out with the Word Bubbles Framelits and popped it on the pennant with Dimensionals foam.

Quick & Easy—I got all 12 of my goodie bags assembled in less than an hour!  And, it would have been even faster if I didn't have to make sure every color was represented on each bag. LOL!

No "Hot Dog Bun" Math Problem Here—It's helpful to note that there are 20 In Color clothespins in the assortment, and 10 Polka Dot bags per package, so you buy two packages of bags and you have enough for 20 treats!  It's so much smarter than buying a package of 8 hot dog buns for your package of 10 hot dogs, am I right?!
