You’re A Rock Star Two Guitars Card
I love this easy Rock Star Bundle design spotlighting two guitars and cool colors that pop!
Background Basics
I started with a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Real Red cardstock embossing with the Merry Melody Embossing Folder and mounted onto a Real Red card base. Next, I adhered a 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Rock & Roll Designer Series Paper onto a 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Basic Black cardstock and mounted it onto the card front.
Focal Point
I stamped the Rock Star guitar image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White cardstock twice. I colored them with Stampin’ Blends Markers: Lost Lagoon for one, Daffodil Delight for the second and Real Red for the accents. I die-cut the images with the Rock Star Dies and popped them up with Dimensionals.
Sentiment & Finishing Touches
I stamped the Rock Star banner sentiment in Memento Black ink onto Basic White, die-cut with the Rock Star Dies and popped it up, as well.
I finished with the two stars from the already sold out Lightning & Stars Embellishments. So cool!
Please Note: I have a limited supply of these for the kits and I do not anticipate running out, but depending on the amount of orders, I may have to substitute these embellishments.
You’re A Rock Star Guitar DSP Card
I absolutely LOVE the Rock & Roll Designer Series Paper! It’s versatile black & white patterns create an awesome backdrop for the Rock Star images! It’s also so fun to color, especially this guitar pattern!
Background Basics
This fun fold card begins with a 7-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Basic Black cardstock, scored at the 4-1/4″ mark. I used Stampin’ Blends Markers to color the guitars on a 3″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Rock & Roll DSP. My guitars are colored with Poppy Parade, Lost Lagoon and Pool Party in both light and dark hues. This DSP was adhered to the shortened card front.
Focal Point
I used the Rock Star Dies to create a Basic Black large guitar pick and adhered it to the card front, overhanging the edge just a bit. Next, I stamped the Rock Star sentiment in Memento Black ink onto Pool Party cardstock, die-cut it and popped it up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches
I also die-cut three Poppy Parade stars with the Rock Star Dies and glued them around the sentiment. For a little sparkle, I used a Dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Marker to alter the color of Basic Rhinestones Jewels and attached them to each star. Sweet!
Inside the Card
I added a 1-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ strip of Rock & Roll DSP down the edge of a 4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White inside layer. I also stamped the sentiment and guitar, which I colored with Lost Lagoon and Poppy Parade Blends Markers. Perfect!
