Color & Contour You're Amazing Cards
The lovely floral image from the Color & Contour stamp set makes a fabulous focal point on this sweet card. I CASEd this design from the swap card I received from Susie Wood, featured next.
Background Basics—I adhered a 4" x 3" piece of Pale Papaya In Color Designer Series Paper to a 4-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock, then mounted the layers onto a Polished Pink card base. Next, I added a Color & Contour sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the right end of a 5" x 1" strip of Polished Pink. I fishtail cut the other end and adhered across the Pale Papaya background.
Fabulous Flower—I stamped the Color & Contour flower onto a 2" x 3-1/4" piece of Basic White with Memento Black ink. I added the filler image in Polished Pink over the top and a Light Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Marker to add color to the leaves. I adhered a Basic White Scalloped Contours die-cut onto the card front, then popped up the stamped layer with Dimensionals over the top.
Finishing Touches—I colored over the blooms with some Wink of Stella shimmer and added a few Artistry Blooms Sequins around the focal point layer.
Two Cool—This second card is the swap card I received from Susie Wood. I LOVE her version! Hers begins with a Fresh Freesia card base and a 4" x 3" piece of Pansy Petals DSP. She added some Matte Black Dots to the end of her sentiment strip.
