Shy Shamrock looks magnificent with blues and browns, so I paired it with Boho Blue and Pecan Pie in this fun, hidden gate-fold card.

I started by scoring my 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Shy Shamrock card base at the 2-1/8″ and 6-3/8″ marks. I folded in the panels and lined them up nice and flush before using my Bone Folder to burnish the creases. I wanted a little background texture so I covered each front panel with a 2-1/8″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Shy Shamrock cardstock that is embossed with the Timber Embossing Folder.

I stamped a Sketched Butterflies sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the lower right corner of a 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ piece of Boho Blue cardstock. Next I stamped the Sketched Butterflies mini butterflies all over the rest of the layer in Boho Blue ink. It’s adhered to a large Basic White Perennial Postage die-cut, then adhered to the front left gate, overlapping the other gate. I also added a 1″ x 4-3/4″ piece of Pecan Pie cardstock down the Boho Blue layer for a pop of contrasting color.

I die-cut a Basic White Stylish Shapes circle and adhered it to the card front with SEAL Adhesive. Next, I tied some Iridescent Striped Trim Ribbon around the card front into a double-knot.

I stamped the large Sketched Butterflies image in Memento Black ink onto Basic White. It’s colored with Boho Blue, Misty Moonlight, Shy Shamrock and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. I used the Sketched Butterflies Dies to die-cut the image, then I popped it up with Dimensionals. I highly recommend brushing some Wink of Stella onto the wings for another shining element.

I added a couple of Iridescent Faceted Pearls near the bottom of the butterfly. A classy look!
